  • The Related Topics links you mention do not answer the question - and the last answer I can find (which does not answer the issue) is April 13, 2010 - it is now February 2011. Is this not important to Microsoft (that users be satisfied with their product)?

    Microsoft's response to me was "that works as designed".

    As designed by the interfacemoronincharge for windows 7, not the way it's worked for years and years and years for all previous versions of windows.

    If I wanted the behaviors of my platform to dramatically change, I'd use Linux.
