SCCM2012 client doesn't show "installed software" at resource explorer RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi team, I have a SCCM 2012 setup, need some advice, thanks! It's running well .but I found one PC has no software to show in my query report. so I right click on it,run resource explored, I can see all applications under "application installed" , but I cannot see "software installed" at all. From other PC can I see both. what's wrong with it? any advice/Thanks!

  • Have you already initiated a full HINV for that client?

  • In addition: have a look at inventoryagent.log on the client.

  • It's standard client push installation like the rest, others ok with this "installed software", but this pc doesn't show anything. Not blank in "installed software", there is no "installed software" option at all. any advice please?

  • When you select the device in the "Devices" view, do you see a recent date for "Software Scan" ? (In the summary view below the list of devices).

Otherwise go to monitoring. Click on System Status and the Status Message Queries. Run "All status Messages from a Specific System" and see if there were any errors which could be related to Software Inventory.

... but "Installed Software" is reported using HINV, not SINV.
