  • Hi Nicolai,

How did you perform the migration?  Did you simply convert the VMDK to a VHD and create a virtual machine?

I'm a little out-of-date with VMware Tools, particularly when working in Linux.. but I wonder if you need to remove those, and/or add the Hyper-V Integration Services into the VM so that it runs correctly.

    Hope this helps,

  • Hi, thank you for answering my question.

We exported it from Vcenter, and then converted VMDK to VHD, we thought the Linux server did not have Vmware Tools installed, but after further investigating we found out that it actually had.

We are going to try to remove it, and then do the process again.

Would have been Nice, if you could Mount the VHD and then removed the vmware Tools.

Will come back to you if it work or not.

    Thank you

  • We have made a decision of creating a New one, and not do anything With the old VM.

Because then we can Upgrade the Version and so on.

We also don't know if it would helped With migrating it to the Hyper-V.
