    I am trying to download Quicktime on my computer.  I will not allow me to download.  I receive an error telling me that the program is blocked by the administrator.  I AM the administrator.  Anyone have any ideas?  Also, when trying to download iTunes, I receive an error message telling me unable to download Windows may be in "safe" mode.  H E L P!!!

    Hi,

    Can you download other program? only iTunes encounter the issue?

    Please tell us the exact error message.

    Please open User Account Control and set it to don't notify me when I am installing application to check the result.

    This did not fix the problem.  The error is:

    The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed.  This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if Windows Installer is not correctly installed.  Contact your support personnel for assistance.
