Migrating SCCM to Azure with InTune subscription RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all, looking for some advice here

I currently have SCCM R2 running on premise and we leverage an InTune subscription. The business is also about to start migration to Azure so we're planning a project to upgrade SCCM to 1602.

How will this work with InTune? Will it be as simple as creating the subscription again in 1602 or is there more to it?

    Thanks

  • Why would you have to create it again? If you already have a working ConfigMgr site, just use the backup and restore methodology to "move" it to Azure IaaS.

Have yo done a cost analysis on this though? Do you have ExpressRoute in place?

Thanks for your reply Jason. Excuse my ignorance, but how would this be done through backup and restore? Are you aware of any good articles worth reading around this?

    Thanks.
