I have accidentallychanged all my word documents to open with Microsoft Office 2010 and now I cant get them to open with Microsoft Word? RRS feed

    I have accidentally today managed to change all my Word Documents to open with Microsoft Office and now I can change them back as every time I try and change their default Microsoft Word doesn't appear in the Programs list for me to be ble to change them back. I have tried copying the documents and saving as a Word Document to my desktop again but they still keep defaulting to Microsoft office and then it will not allow me to open them and comes up with a Microsoft Office dialogue box asking for all sorts. How can I get them back to open with Word? Please can you help?

    Right-click a Word document icon. From the context menu, select Open With, and then click Choose Default Program. If you can't find your version of Word, click the Browse button and locate the winword.exe executable file.
