Shared mailbox changes disappearing RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have 4 users using a shared mailbox for which they have to flag or change the email description to say done.  1 user when he attempts this the changes revert back to original after 30 seconds?

They are all using Outlook 2016 - same version.

    Changes they make :

    1. Flag as complete

    2. change the email subject to add word done after it from the list pane.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

  • Hi cazzajm,

When you made changes in Outlook client, we can check shared mailbox on the web mail to see whether changes show correctly.

Normally, this could be related with data file synchronization. We can recreate OST file to see if it helps. Please refer to the steps in this link.

Do you have cached Exchange mode enabled? In this case, shared mailbox will also be cached. If issue persists, we can try accessing shared mailbox on online mode.

To do this, please go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings. Double click your account and choose More Settings. Under Advanced tab, uncheck "Download shared folders" and then restart Outlook to test the result.

Any updates, please feel free to post back.

    Regards,

    Perry
