SCOM 2007 R2 - Can we manage a power failure? RRS feed

    Hi all,

    Could you tell me if it's possible to configure SCOM to shutdown a server when this server gets a power supply failure and move from the normal power supply to an UPS supply ?

    Hi, that is not a default feature, but with a hardware MP, like the HP server MP, you can get an alert if a power supply failure and then as response shutdown the server with a command or script.
