Importing MOM 2005 Management Pack into Operations Mamanger 2007

Question

Hi all;
According to Microsoft, We can use Certification Services MP for MOM 2005, in Operations Manager 2007. Please look at the following link:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/winserversecurity/thread/efee423c-6896-45c2-86b6-5ad398583569
But in another document Microsoft states that:
MOM 2005 management packs cannot be imported into Operations Manager 2007.
Any idea?

hi,
that can be done, but it not something I recommend. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc296698(BTS.10).aspx
You could also use the old MP as source and build a new in ops mgr.
