RDS Hardware and Capacity Planning on Windows 2012 R2. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello MSDN Team,

Good day. We are doing a performance test about  RDS/RemoteApp using Azure IaaS right now and  are looking for a white paper about hardware sizing and capacity planning for Windows 2012 R2. We found a few links in the internet but those are Windows 2008 R2. May we ask if you can lead us to a Microsoft website or any documentation about it?

We are looking for the following information.
1.Recommended Network bandwidth for LAN and Wireless users.
2.Ideal network bandwidth per session/user in RDS.
3.Terminal Session # of Session / CPU Core (optimum performance limit of a Terminal Servers).
    4. Recommended hardware specs for RDS Session Host, Connection Broker, Web and Gateway Servers / per user or session.5.Other relevant information/documentation about stress test and performance tuning for RDS on Windows 2012 R2.

    Hoping for your advise.

  • Hello Glenn Jose,

Did you find this documentation by chance?

I am just looking exactly for the same and I cannot find anything, only something related to W2008 but nothing related to W2012,

If so, could you send it to gabrielg@asg.com
