Word 2007 - Problems printing Outline

Question
-
I'm a computer teacher and I'm teaching my students to use the Outline view for their Research paper outlines. The problem that we're experiencing is the Research heading and Thesis statement print on a page by themselves on the first page and the outline prints on the following pages. I have tried setting a Continuious Break after the Thesis statement, but that does not work. See example attached at end.
My question is how do I set up the formatting for this file so that the heading, thesis statement and beginning of outline print on the first page.
Thank you for any insight provided!
Mary
