Help (chm files) in high dpi deployments - hh.exe doesn't scale RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We're adding high dpi support to our MFC application. It's been around since NT days and the Help provision since 1999 has been to use the HTMLHelp API. We use chm files compiled with Robohelp.

Since the app registers itself as being DPI Aware, it spawns the Help window as being DPI aware - unfortunately it clearly isn't. The text can be made to scale (Options / Internet Options / Accessibility /  Ignore Font Sizes specified on Web Pages), however images don't and are tiny at 200 DPI. Also the the Contents tree contains tiny icons.

    Any suggestions...
