Hello, I an a newbie to the SCOM and want to monitor DB percent log space used for all my database servers using SCOM and perfmon counters. I created a monitor using Windows Performance Counter:
Object = MSSQL$DBINSTANCE:Databases Counter = Percent Log Used Instance = All instances for the selected counter
But, this will work for only once specific database instance named (MSSQL$DBINSTANCE). I want to monitor all databases on different servers which will have different instance name. Is it possible or am I missing something?
I have been looking for instructions to setup basic SQL monitoring using SCOM on internet, but havn't had much success. If somebody can share the tutorial/links, it will be very helpful.
