  • Hi,

Why do you want SCCM to run this??

The normal procedure from my point of view, is to deploy the necessary files to the clients with SCCM and the put something in the login script that tells BGINFO.exe to run with your customized settings.

  • When you say it doesn't seem to work, can you give a few more details. Does the application not run successfully? Does BGInfo not execute? Does BGInfo not change the desktop as expected?

  • Hi ,

You can use VB script to deploy BG info in which u can mention BGinfor folder, program files and what ever you want. And then you can deploy this script throug SCCM

  • hi,

is it necessary to keep bginfo.exe before bginfo.bgi??? Because when I put only bginfo.bgi, the timer variable was not working.

But as soon as i put bginfo.exe before it, timer value works just fine.

FOllowing is the script I used

    \\\all\bginfo.exe \\\all\bginfo.bgi /silent /timer:00
