If you mean KB3197867 failed to install on Server 2008 and 2012, then it is expected, since KB3197867 is applied to win7 SP1 and win2008R2 SP1. Please check the KB for detailed information:

  • Hi GAbhishek,

Do you use WSUS server to deploy the updates, if yes, do these updates report as needed by related clients?

Please also check windows update log in C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log.

    Best Regards,

    Anne

  • Hi Anne,

    We are not using WSUS.

Deployment app is able to detect the required patches and report.

Also, manual deployment of this patch is failing. Just give you more insight, Oct 16 and Nov 16 roll up is failing on all Servers.

  • Hi GAbhishek,

    >manual deployment of this patch is failing.

Then what error message do you get when manually install the patch, not applicable or others?

Please run sfc /scan on the computer, check if there are corrupted or missing system files.

    Best Regards,

    Anne

We have tried sfc but no luck.
