  • Could there be a BIOS password enabled?  Check with Intel on clearing it (there is usually a jumper on the mobo to change).  Intel can also help you with accessing the boot options

  • On that board, if you set a supervisor password but not a user password, when you enter the BIOS, all options will be disabled.

You'll have to reset the BIOS. See here:

  • So , all of this because of you or someone set Supervisor password ( sometimes it is called '' Master Password '' ) , I had this problem for 2 years , then nowadays I solved it , all settings were grayed out and now all of them is available. When you enter to the BIOS it will ask from you password ( or , just set user password ) , you have to press alt+r to get rescue date and enter rescue password , IN ORDER TO CLEAR SUPERVISOR PASSWORD.I Did it on my ASUS Laptop. You can WATCH this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZfFcHtYIRw https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?49241-Settings-greyed-out-in-BIOS
