Green "Zoom-to-fit" button from osx in Windows 7 RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • After playing around with a friends mac, I actually found the green plus button (zoom to fit or whatever its called) pretty useful.
So I was just wondering if there is any software or anything I can do to get this functionality to replace the maximize button. If there was a way to add a forth button, that'd be great; however I'm fine replacing the maximize button for a zoom-to-fit button because I find myself using aero-snap to resize windows 9 out 10 times.
Thanks for the help if anyone can.

  • Hello,

As far as I know, there's no such tool can add a "Zoom-to-fit" button in windows 7.

  • Hi SteveCheeseman,

Thanks for your wise suggestion. Currently there isn't such a button in Windows 7, I would like to forward your opinion to our DEV team.

As a work around, you can use shortcut keys (Win + arrow key) for snap to resize the window.

BTW, I found a third party software Move Me which is original written for Windows XP. You can install it in Windows XP compatibility mode.

    Best Regards
