#5.5.0 smtp;550-host not in relay list RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear All,

For the last 2 days we are getting this warning message when sending mail ( to any domain, any recepiant)

    "

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

     Subject: Test
    Sent: 5/3/2013 8:05 AM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

      <good.email>@gmail.com on 5/3/2013 8:05 AM
There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's email server.  Please contact your system administrator.
      <server.mydomain.com #5.5.0 smtp;550-host not in relay list >

    "

Can anyone please advice how to start resolving this problem?

I have double check all settings in Exchange 2003 and I dont see anything that could couse this problem

I was wondering would that be something with our ISP (we are using smtp.magnet.ie)?

    Regards,

If you're getting the same error code and text for _every_ message you
send then you're having a problem with the SMTP relay server you have
    your server configured to use.

If you're using your ISP's SMTP server as a relay server, then yes, it
is very likely something your ISP has changed that's casuing the
    problem.
