  • Hi,

I am deleting user from FIM portal and running Delta Import & delta Sync. So, How can i manipulate on the "delete" modification Type using any Rule Extension either AD Rule Extension or MV Extension?

    Thanks~

    You can't.

Closest things I can think of are to either attach a workflow to the delete in the portal, or implement the ShouldDeleteFromMV metaverse rules extension entry point.

  • I assume you mean when you're running a sync against a pending import on the FIM MA.

The short answer is 'none'... the long answer depends on what you are trying to do.

What are you trying to achieve?

  • Attaching a workflow to delete is kind of tricky as in Action workflow phase you don't know what you've deleted ;).

One more option is to use Deprovision method in MA extension to set some final values on an object in CS.

  • Hi Brian,

Thanks for your help But I have already implemented this by Playing with ShouldDeleteFromMV in MV extension.

    Thanks
