page fault in non-page area RRS feed

  • I just finished installing a major download upgrade that came from Microsoft for Windows 10.  I had been running Windows 10 for a while without any issues.  Now I get the above prompt and then the system restarts.  It says that the issue is with SNP2UVC.sys.

    What is this about and what's the fix?

    Faulty hardware, a buggy system service, antivirus software, and a corrupted NTFS volume can all generate this type of error”.

    I suggest you run SFC /SCANNOW to see whether any corrupted system files need to be fixed.
