  • What is the Windows 7 default timeout after the logon screen is displayed before "Press CTRL+ALT+DEL or use the Windows Security button to log on" message is displayed?

  • Hi,

It's confused your problem. When we start the Windows 7, firstly the "Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to login screen" is displayed, when you press the correct key, the login screen included all user account displayed.

So what's the timeout you mean?

Check if this thread is the same meanning as yours:

  • Yes, that was it.

"When we start the Windows 7, firstly the "Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to login screen" is displayed, when you press the correct key, the login screen included all user account displayed."

The timeout we are looking for is AFTER this, how long before the login screen goes back to "Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to login screen".
