Word file is getting corrupted after saving to SharePoint RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have been working on multiple word files stored in SharePoint 2010 document library.

Once in a while something is going wrong and I am not able to open the saved document as it is getting corrupted.

I am using Office 2016 to edit the documents.

    Thanks,

    Rahul Babar

  • Hi Rahul- Lakshmanan's links mostly help you recover the files, with the exception of the third one, which is one reason they're getting corrupted in the first place. Another thing you should check is whether your server is buggy. Normally this type of thing happens when the server burps/power surge/outage issues while someone is editing a document.
