KB2585542 and Cisco's AnyConnect RRS feed

  • After installing the KB2585542 update our Cisco's AnyConnect VPN client does not work unless the update is uninstalled. Is the a fix or configuration settings that will make this work? Note: we only use AnyConnect on Windows 7 64bit machines. We use another Cisco client for all others that works fine.

  • When Microsoft issues an update it is for systems across the board.  Only in very extreme circumstances will Microsoft revoke an update that cause problems.  That means the update must have adverse effects on a significant number of the systems in use.

    For isolated problems, such as yours, the publisher of the software encountering problems will have to publish an update or a fix for their software.  In this case, you need to discuss the problem with Cisco.
