Send as Send Item

    Question

  • Hi,

One of the user is sending emails as a resource mailbox (Send As), the sent item gets saved in sender's Delegate's sent item. Then i run Set-Mailbox <mailbox name> -MessageCopyForSentAsEnabled $True  now the sent item is stored at both  delegate and resource mailbox, but the user want the emails to stored only in the resource mailbox.

do we have further switches in O365 command Set-Mailbox to save the sent items only in resource mailbox?

  • Hi,

As per my experience, it is impossible to use the a command switch to save the sent items only in resource mailbox, it is a by design behavior.

    Hope it helps.

  • Hi channavera,

there are no additional switches - a sent message can be only copied but not moved.

If the user runs Outlook you can try to use UniSent add-in to do what you want.
