How can i run my application from user without administrator password in windows server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2018 ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We've created remote desktop users in windows server 2012 R2 Standard & every user have an own folder in D: drive like Dell, Philips, etc, how to restrict to folder access to user among themselves along with d: drive

Currently i am following this steps to restrict this access.

For each user folder, i.e. Philips, Dell, etc...
    1. Make the folder i.e. d:\Philips
    2. Right-click Philips > Properties > Security > Advanced > Disable inheritance > Convert inherited permissions into explicit > OK to close Advanced dialog
    3. Pick Edit button. Leave Creator Owner, Administrators, System.
    4. Add Administrators. Give Full control.
    5. Add user Philips. Give Modify. OK to close dialog.
    6. Pick Sharing tab > Advanced Sharing
    7. Pick Share this folder > Adjust Share name as desired.
    8. Pick Permissions > Remove Everyone > Add Administrators and System. Give Full control to both.
    9. Add user Philips. Give Change permission. OK to close Advanced Sharing dialog. Close to close Properties dialog.
    10. Repeat above steps for remaining users.

    Now my question is:-

I have to login the users and start my application on it by Run as Administrator. When I do this, it asks for the Administrator password, so how can I remove the password permissions ?
There is a setting on Windows server so that if I run any of my applications through Run as Administrator then it will not ask for the password ?
