Have you checked in the Event Viewer? Anything useful recorded out there?
Try to repair your Office installation via Control Panel and see if this will correct the issue:

Not sure what's the frequency of this issue, you might also want to perform a clean boot in Windows, then monitor the issue again. This will help us to determine whether the issue was caused by any software conflicts:
