  • Hi LisaKruger,

    • Please try to deploy from the VS SSIS Solution Explorer.
      Right mouse click, Deploy option.
    • If it is dimmed for whatever reason, you can copy to the server a project deployment
~\bin\Development\*.ispac file, and deploy it directly on the server by double clicking on it.

Can you explain how you moved project from 2008 to 2017? Did you upgrade it or just added the package to an existing/new project created in 2017?

  • Hi LisaKruger,

Please try to do what I suggested and do the Build before Deploy.

  • Hi LisaKruger,

From the image you post, we can see that the package is in Package Deployment Model

1, If you want to deploy the single package to MSDB or File System, you can click File->Save copy of Package.dtsx As...

2, If you are going to deploy the packages to SSISDB, you will need to convert the project to Project Deployment Model, and right click on the project/package, select deployment.

SSIS Convert from Package Deployment Model to Project Deployment Model

Deploy Integration Services (SSIS) Projects and Packages
