Identifying who has booked a resource RRS feed

  • Question

  • The new room-finding capabilities of in Exchange coupled with Outlook work quite well for us. One thing I'm not able to figure out how to do however, is, if a resource is booked, identifying who has booked said resource.

This is quite important since it makes it possible to engage with the meeting organizer and move things around. Some rooms have features that others do not, so some times we need to swap rooms. That isn't possible if I can not identify who has booked a room.

Is t his possible in Exch/Outlook?

  • try to login to the resource mailbox in OWA

go to options - Resource Settings - and select Resource Privacy Options - and check Always add the organizer name to the meeting subject.
