When open outlook (Pro-Plus) in first time in morning then its take long time but after close once and open again then open normal time. RRS feed

  • Hi Support,

    i have recent installed office 365 pro-plus 2016 and user facing unaccepted behavior. When open outlook (Pro-Plus) in first time in morning then its take long time but after close once and open again then open normal time.

    I have tried to open outlook in safe-mode then its take also same timings.

    Does this problem affect all users in your environment and occurs everyday?
    How long does it to open Outlook when the issue appears? Does it stuck at a certain screen like "Processing" or "Loading profile"?

    Please try running the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant for Office 365 and see if anything can be detected:

    Besides, please try upgrading to the latest version of Office 365 on one machine and see if there is any improvement.

  • Hi Yuki,

    Yes its stuck "Processing" and "Loading profile".

    When open any office file like outlook, word, excel it will take more then 5 min.

    Have you run the Office Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant for Office 365 to see the result?  

    Besides, it is suggested to try testing on one machine by performing a clean boot and check if there is any improvement. This helps eliminate whether the problem is related to any software conflicts.

    How many users are affected by this issue?
    Could you please collect the detailed build number of Office via File > Account so that we can do further research on this?

    Additionally, it is suggested to try temporarily turning off the anti-virus soft ware if there is one to check the result.

    More then 2000 user effected and it start when install office 365 pro-plus. 

    • It is working fine when rollback from office 365 pro-plus to office 2013 pro-plus.

    Do you mean you have already rollbacked to Office 2013 as a workaround?

    If you still want to fix the Office 365 performance issue, as we have mentioned above, could you please collect the detailed build number of both Office and Windows so that we can do further research on this? It is also recommended to test on one machine by installing all available updates for Windows to check the result.

    According to the Office 365 Update history, Version 1811 has been released for monthly channel. From the image above, you are still running Version 1810. Please try upgrading to the latest version and see if there will be any improvement.
