OneDrive CopyTo Sharepoint - Document Sets

    Question

  • Hi,

We use SharePoint Document Sets for a lot of our data, and when the new OneDrive copy to SharePoint became available, I thought it would be quite useful - except that it doesn't seem to pull up the folders in our Document Sets.

Now I understand that folders may not be the best option, but I'm not going to be able to change our users minds on this front any time soon.

Are there plans to support copying files from OneDrive to folders within DocumentSets any time soon? If not, is there any way to disable the Copy To functionality in OneDrive to stop people trying to copy to SharePoint as they won't be able to do anything useful anyway in our environment?

  • This doesn't answer the question at all. There is now new functionality available in SharePoint online to copy files from my OneDrive to other locations in SharePoint that I have access to. The issue is when I try to copy to a document set the folders contained within are not available.
