Screen Resolution HDMI RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have windows  7 Ultimate 64bit My problem is that when i connect to my T.V using a hdmi cable the screen resolution is 1900 by 1080 but the screen doesn't fit the tv so the sides are chopped off...Before my screen resolution on my TV was 1600 by 1050(i think) when i connected it using HDMI. So does anyone has a fix to change the resolution back to 1600 by 1050 or make the 1900 by 1080 fit the screen? and yes i have tried changing it back to 1600 by 1050 it doesn't work....Thank you for your help and time =)

  • Hi,

It depends on the TV and the display card.

You may try to change the resolution in the display setting or check if there are any settings in the TV’s menu.

Also, you may contact the manufacturer to get the TV’s real resolution.

Otherwise, the following link for your reference.
