win7pro x64 Traditional Chinese (CHT) IE 9 printer (Zebra R110xi4) command fail RRS feed

  • Question

  • Recently I've been printing a label via IE-9 with a printer command on win7 pro x64 Traditional Chinese (CHT) but some how the behavior its slightly different compare with my other machine win 7 pro x64 EN - IE 9

I've tested on  following environments with successful cases

    winXP pro x86 SP3 - IE8  (Success)
    win 7 pro x64 CHS - IE 8,IE 9,IE10 (Success)

    win 7 pro x64 EN - IE 8,IE 9,IE10 (Success)

    win8 pro x64 - IE10 (Success)

    EXCEPT

    win7 pro x64 CHT - IE 9 (FAIL)

I've read through the print job file by text editor and found out the pritner command has been modified under win7 pro x64 CHT - IE 9, the print out content is correct but the command that trigger a printer action has been disappear which gives a fail result.

For those environment with successful cases, I can clearly see the command still exist in the print job file.

Is the problem related to traditional chinese version of win7? Since it works fine on English and Simplified Chinese of win7 pro x64.

I've been struggling on the above case for a long time.

For further information needed please let me know.

Thank you for all of you who has been concern on the above cases.

    Jerry
