Stupid bar is pissing me off, please anyone help? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Well basically before my folders just had accordingly arranged files in them. Now in my my libraries documents, music, and pictures folders I have this bar, I can right click and expand or collapse my files. However I want to totally remove this bar, and I just want my files there. How can I do this, please help anyone?

  • Hi,

Right click on the explorer -> Group By -> None should remove this grouping.

  • If you are talking about the Navigation bar where you can expand and collapse folders, and the folder you are browsing is highlighted, then here is how to turn it off-

Click Organize from the toolbar > Layout > Navigation pane.

If this is not what you meant, you are requested to clarify what you meant.
