How to backup and restore sharepoint list items RRS feed

  • Hi all,

    Can any one tell me how can we backup and restore sharepoint list items in sharepoint 2007.

  • You can save list as a template with or without content and use it to create another list in future

  • I can't recall if individual list items are stored in the recycle bin but I'd check there, and then the site collection (site admin) bin if it's been deleted from there

    There isn't an item level back-up and restore natively with SharePoint.  You'd probably have to restore your back-up to a seperate server/farm due to matching GUIDS and then retrieve the item you need from that list.
