Slow SCCM Client Actions update, when installing SCCM klient. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I got an Slow SCCM Client Actions update, when installing SCCM klient. It takes about one hour to get all actions from the SCCM Client settings. I Think I can use policyagent.log to check this, and the clients are within the IP boundary.

    So what to look for?

  • There's nothing wrong if you set collection update intervals to i.e. once per week. It might just end up in actions reaching the clients late.

  • What *exactly* is taking such a long time? Could you add some details please?
Have you deployed any custom client settings or is there just the default one?

  • Hi,

Yes we have custom settings, with SCEP. Compliance Settings, Power Mgr, Remote Tools, HW and Software Inv, Software Update can be some more.

  • I guess that you've deployed those settings to a custom collection? What about the collection update interval? Could that cause the delay?

  • thanks Torsten

interesting thought I will check this, we have made an Microsoft CMRAP with no big issue. I think it is strange that Microsoft dont look att  the relationship between SCCM klient and the site server in Deep.

I will comeback with the results..
