Help with ACT DB Query RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

We've run the ACT in our organization recently as I needed to get a list of all applications installed on each PC. The export report feature only shows how many computers have an application installed, not the names of the computers where it is installed. So, I wrote an SQL query which I think gets me pretty close to what I need:

    select distinct ipaddress,appName,machinename
    from ipaddress_machine m
    left join app_installed_on_machine a on m.macAddress = a.macAddress
left join applications app on app.identity_hash = a.appid
    left join logical_machine comp on comp.macaddress = m.macaddress
    where ipaddress like '10.%'

However, I'm having problems trying to get the same type of report for devices. At the end of the day, I need a report that shows computer IP, Device Name, Device, Class, Computer Name.

I can't be the only person who is looking to present the ACT collected data this way. Anyone have a solution or query they've used for devices?

    Thanks in advance!
