  • Hi MB1131,

    We'd need more specific details to understand the situation.

    • Is that an Exchange, POP or IMAP account?
    • Is that user's own mailbox or a delegated one, a shared mailbox?
    • Have you tried it on different folders?
    • What is the version of Outlook installed?


    Nevertheless you can try these:

    - Make sure that Office has got all updates.

    - Disable all COM add-ins in Outlook:

    • Navigate through File > Options > Add-ins
    • Select "COM Add-ins" and click go GO
    • Uncheck all add-ins and click OK


    - Repair Office. First cast a quick repair. If problem persists, go with the online repair:

    - Reset Outlook settings and preferences. Since you'll be playing with registry, don't forget to backup (export) them first so that you can import them back in case of any unexpected problems:

    • Close all Office apps and windows.
    • Open Registry Editor (regedit.exe).
    • Find these keys, export them first to have a backup for each one, and delete them:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\Outlook

    • Restart the computer.
