Trying to access local user account windows 7. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,
I have a windows 7 laptop that was given to me from the company I work for. It was connected to a domain server where I have a login and password to access it; however, recently they upgraded me to a new windows 10 laptop and gave me the old laptop and never asked for it. I know that they disconnected that laptop from the company network and now I'm trying to login to the local user account to start using the computer normally. The problem is that when I startup the system will not give me any option/local user to login to, It only asks for user name and password that I used to have when the laptop was connected to the company's network which is not valid anymore. tried multiple solutions nothing worked for me. If there is any advice it will be appreciated. I'm ready to pay for an advice if solves the problem.

    Things I tried so far,

Tried passfolk  program I was hoping that I could add a local user but didn't work ( showed an error : system directory not found)

Tried to use .\admin to access administrator local account didn't work.

    Things to know:

Bios is locked with a password a well.

windows cannot enter safe mode with F8
