PerformancePoint KPI Implementation

Question
-
I created several KPI from PerformancePoint Dashboard Designer. I see the KPI is being saved onto SharePoint 2010 server. It saved as PerformancePoint Content on the server. Yet, when I tried to incorporate it into the Dashboard page, I am unable to locate them from the PerformancePoint Indicator Web Part. I can see PerformancePoint Filter, Scorecard and Stack Selector. Where is the PerformancePoint KPI indicator? How can I change the KPI to display color indicator?
I tried another method to create a regular SharePoint Status List which contains indicator, it displays the entire list with the Indicator Goal Threshold along with the Content Type. It does not display the Green, Yellow, and Red indicator. What am I missing?
Please advise,
Brian.

Hello Brian,
Once you create your KPIs, you will need to put them into a scorecard. Here is documentation that will walk you through this: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff758653.aspx Once you add them to scorecards, you will be able to use the PerformancePoint Scorecard webpart to add them to your website.
Here is documentation on getting started on SharePoint Status Indicators: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint-server-help/getting-started-with-sharepoint-status-indicators-HA010380634.aspx?CTT=5&origin=HA101791992. Have you added a status indicator to a Status List? This is needed to have the red, yellow and green to show up.
Thanks
