    we have Wsus server to deploy patches at my organization, few things i want confirm before deploying feature update through wsus server.

    1.WSUS server recommendation of Feature update from 1703 to 1709 more than 800 pc's, what size the feature update is? and how much time client will take to install , also is there any best option to reduce the bandwidth utilization and efficient method.

    2.Already we had windows 7 pc's more than 2000 pc's , this pc's last updated was last year july 2017 since we have not deployed any patches tyo our windows 7 pc's , so if am going to install latest patch on windows 7 pc's monthly roll up update is enough.

    As per my knowledge monthly rollup is the update which hold the previous months security update and other fixes as well.

    Kindly suggest me on this .

    Hello,

    1. This depends on many factors, if you want to speedup the upgrade on your client, you can choose to use Express installation file in WSUS:

    And It is not suggested to approve so many update one time, this may lead issues also. 

    2. You can only approve the latest monthly rollup to your Windows 7 clients, and not all hotfix is included, any other updates needed, you can approve them separately.
