Create a report that shows costs / resource / summary task / month RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have a project plan with a single resource (with a rate added to resource sheet) that is assigned to a bunch of different tasks over a 4 month duration.

    I am trying to figure out how to create a report that shows the cost per month against each summary task. Can I do this?

    Can this be done?

    Sure, take a look at the Task Usage view and set the timescale to show months.

  • John, that provides the summary hours per month, do you know how to flip those hours into costs? I.e. each of the tasks has a resource with a rate assigned to it so the costing column on the left side of the chart is filled in, I would those costs broken down by month.

  • On the grid, not the table, right click and select cost (and other useful things too)
