Can't install Power Query for Excel 2013 RRS feed

  • When I tried to install Power Query (64-bit) for Excel 2013 I get this message: 

    "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

    Please make sure that your computer meets the System Requirements specified in the Power Query download page: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=39379

    Let us now if you still see this issue after verifying that the requirements are being met.

    I've got the same issue as alaeddin when trying to install Power Query (32 bit) on my computer. I've checked all microsoft requirements and didn't find any related failure. I've try to overcome this by uninstall and reinstall my microsoft office 2013 unsuccesfully.

    I'll, thus, be glad you could give me a hand to solve this issue.

    I am using MS Office 2013 Pro Plus 15.0.4815.1000 MSO 15.0.4823.1000 64bit.

    And OS Win7 Ent 64bit Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601

    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4210U CPU @ 1.70GHz, 2401 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)

    Still facing the same issue.
