WSUS and Silverlight Update Error details: Code 80246003

  Hi,

  What is the version of WSUS server? If you are running WSUS 3.2 then you need patch it with KB2734608:

  I have several Win2012R2+April Update servers, all of then, with the same error
  

  Microsoft Silverlight (KB2617986)
  Installation status: Failed
  Error details: Code 80246003
  

  What´s wrong?

  My first question is WHY are you trying to install Silverlight on a Windows Server 2012 R2 server with Internet Explorer 11 ?????

  My second question is WHY are you trying to install Silverlight on a server operating system at all ?????

  My third question... is this machine actually a node of this Hyper-V Cluster, or is it a VM running on the cluster?

  Other than that... this is a SILVERLIGHT question, not a WSUS question, and questions regarding installing Silverlight on Windows Server 2012/2012R2 should be taken up with the Silverlight team.
