PerfMon counter PAGING FILE->% USAGE->_TOTAL has breached threshold 85 for 30 minutes issue

  Hi,

  Pagefile.sys % Usage shows total system committed not what currently is utilized. This value can increase due to load when system finds out it has to back process with more page file. Have a look at below link for detailed explanation

  This error indicates that there may be a performance problem with the disk hosting the page file. This problem may ultimately be related to a memory issue on the server.

  To resolve this error, take the following steps:

  1. Consider locating the page file on a dedicated partition or high speed disk.
  2. Remove superfluous software.
  3. Run server maintenance tasks during non-peak times or during low usage periods.
