What is the latest build version I can upgrade too with System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager SP1 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've inherited a "Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard" server, which has "System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager SP1". The console version is 5.0.8239.1302. Site Version is 5.00.8239.1000.I want

Ultimately I want to upgrade the server OS and SCCM to the latest versions, but in the interim I want to upgrade SCCM to the highest versions supported on Server 2012 R2?

    Thanks in advance.

As noted, yes, but only if you are licensed for it.

    and install over the top

Running the 1902 installation will perform an in-place upgrade on an existing ConfigMgr site, yes.

As Kaylan noted, all site systems, including those hosting just DPs, will be upgraded automatically immediately after the site upgrade occurs.
