MS Project 2013 - Inactive Tasks showing in Reports RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I am wondering why tasks that have been inactivated in the project are showing up in the project reports? For example, when I look at the 'Late Tasks' report, I have multiple inactive tasks that are showing up as late.

    Is this a bug?

    Cheers,
    Michelle

  • I am seeing the same thing.  As a work around, create a copy of the Late Tasks and add a second line as an AND condition:

    Field: Active

    Test: Equals

    Value: Yes

That will only show late tasks that are active.  You can apply that filter to the Late Tasks report instead of the standard Late Tasks filter.

    I hope this helps.

  • When you click on the Late report the field list shows on the right of your screen. You should find that the Filter is showing "Late Tasks". Change this to "Late Tasks (Active)"
