Microsoft.Identitiy.Health.AadSysnc.Monitoring.Agent.Startup.exe using 97 % to 99 % of CPU RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a Windows Server 2008 R2 running on Hyper - V. This Windows Server 2008 R2 is responding very slow. On analysis i have found in Task Manager that the CPU utilization is 100 % with Microsoft.Identitiy.Health.AadSysnc.Monitoring.Agent.Startup.exe  using 97 % to 99 % of CPU. I restarted the Server twice and CPU Utilization came down to 3 % - 5 % but after half an hour it again climbed to 100 % with Microsoft.Identitiy.Health.AadSysnc.Monitoring.Agent.Startup.exe  using 97 % to 99 % of CPU as a result the Backups from this Server are getting impacted.

What is this Task : Microsoft.Identitiy.Health.AadSysnc.Monitoring.Agent.Startup.exe and why is it using 98 % - 99 % of CPU. Can i end this task from Task Manager or how else can this issue be resolved as it is impacting Backups and other processes from this server.

Looking froward to an early response.

    Regards,

    Vikram.
