Do I need Readyboost RRS feed

    "Need" is too strong a word. The real question is whether it will be
    of any help to your performance.

    In my opinion, it's highly unlikely that ReadyBoost will help
    someone with as much as 4GB of RAM.

    But, rather than ask our opinions, the easiest way to find out for
    sure is to try it, and assess for yourself whether there is any
    improvement in performance.

  • you don't need it. 4GB RAM is enough. ReadyBoost adds a fast file cache. It is useful if you have a limited amout of RAM. But with 4GB you don't need ReadyBoost.
