Pop up boxes in Word 2010 collecting information for filling out form templates RRS feed

  • Question

  • Our company has templates for fax, memo and letterhead that were created in a much earlier version of word.  Upon opening all of the templates, pop ups appear asking the user for information such as "What is the name of the person and the Company where this fax is going?" and "what is their fax number?".  The information the user inputs in the pop ups is then placed in the document.

The problem is that it isn't working correctly in Word 2010 and I would like to recreate them.  Unfortunatly I have been unable to find any instruction on how to do so.  Is this something that is still available in 2010?

  • Hi,

Thanks for your help.  I converted all of the templates and they seem to be fine with the one exception.  When you open the templates from inside Word the pop ups no longer appear.  When you open them directly the pop ups work just fine.  Any ideas on how to fix that?
