    Hello,

    I have set up a document library with default content type document set. Now i wanted to create a workflow through sharepoint designer which should run automatically when a user creates a new document set. Unfortunately the workflow runs on each item inside the document set instead of one time for the document set...how can I modify my workflow to only run on the document set? Thanks in advance.

    A document set is just a content type.  You should be able to just create the workflow and then attach it to the Document Set in either SPD or via the WorkFlow Settings.

    What type of workflow did you create?

    I tried it with a list workflow through SPD...how can I assign it to only run it on the whole document set and not the content? I need to be able to wait for a field change (this is a synchronized column of the document set)

    Unfortunately when I try to create a reusable workflow in SPD and then want to assign it to my document set content type, then the browser opens - I can set the settings when to start the workflow but when clicking OK I receive an error "An unexpected error has occurred" with "Correlation ID: 4439f5e7-23c8-486c-ac17-619e756d8ccb" ... do not know what I am doing wrong :S
